June 17 Vernon and Gladys pick up licenses and marry in Verona, Mississippi. They withdraw at the parents of Vernon to the Old Saltillo Road in Tupelo.
1934  
     The couple moves to Gladys' grandmother. She lives at Berrystreet. Vernon  haswork as a milkman. Vernon lend $180 of it's boss, Orville S. Bean to be able builda house. With father J.D. and brother Vester build they a two chamber house beside the house of J.D. Presley on Old Saltillo Road.
The house gets number 306.
1935  
January 8 Gladys, assisted by Dr. William R. Hunt, become a twin. The first of the twin, Jesse garon, becomes dead born at 4.00 AM. The second, Elvis Aron Presley, are born at 4.35 AM.
January 9 Jesse Garon Presley is burried in a nameless grave at Priceville Cemetery Tupelo.
1937  
November 16 Vernon forge and collect a cheque of its employer in association with his brother in law Travis Smith and a friend Lether Gable. They are arrested. Against payment of $500 p.p. they canuntil the process on free feet remain. Only Vernon continued wait in an cell for its process.
1938  
May 24 The pronouncement is 3 years coercion labour. Shortly after the requirement of the judge the employer requires, Orville S. Bean, $180 . Gladys and Elvis are forced to move and withdraws at Vernon `s parents J.D. and Minnie Presley.

1939  
February 6 The Presley family is together. Vernon are dismissed from the prison, because of good behaviour and a petition of the citizens of Lee County with added a letter of Orville S. Bean. Everything sign by governor Hugh White.
1940

The Presley family moves to Pascagoula, Mississippi. Vernon have found work on a shipswarf. Because homesickness Presley `s go to Tupelo, where them firstly at cousin Frank Richards and its woman to withdraw and later at Vester, Clettes and daughter Patsy in the Reese street.
  Elvis goes to East Tupelo Consolidated School
  Later this year involve the Presley `s their own rented house on the Maple street. The house number is 510 and hiring is $8 weekly.
1942  
  As Elvis, seven years old, the Presley's move to the Kelly street. Elvis go this year to the second class of the Lawson school. It is difficult get work. They move therefore to Gladys `parents on  Berry street. Here Elvis start to his third school year.
1943  
  In this year move the Presley `s to a small apartment on the Adams street. The house has been rented of a local doctor. It is here that Elvis go to the fourth class.
1945  
  The previous years the Presley's save have been possible s considerably, so that Vernon can buy a house. The total costs are $2000. The first advance payment is $200 and then each month $30 plus interest. Owner is Orville S. Bean. In this period leaves Vernon's father J.D. Minnie and she draws then at Vernon and Gladys. After the war years it is now difficult to come and therefore difficult the monthly satisfy payments to work.
October 3 Elvis are first public act on Mississippi-Alabama the Fair and DairyShow in Tupelo with the song Old Shep. Elvis finish as fifth. Mrs. Oleta Grimes have regulated this for Elvis, after she had heard that Elvis that morning in the class had sung. The won price was exactly well for couple of free rides on Fair, until its mother put a rod because Elvis will do the dangerous rides.
1946  
January 7 A small tornado rages concerning Tupelo for 5.00 AM. Gladys and Elvis hide in a storm cellar.
January 8 Elvis have reached the age of 11 years. From his parents he gets instead of a bicycle or gun, a guitar. Gladys buy the guitarin Tupelo at hardware store. The salesman is Forrest L. Bobo. He tells the story that Elvis rather had the gun, but that Elvis then he heard that the gun $7,75 , he has not enough money, his mother said that if he would take the guitar of $12.95, they the complete amount would pay. That gave the disruption for Elvis.Gladys tells later that the bicycle was too
expensive and that she frightened was that Elvis would do themselves pain.
  In spring there a house comes for the arrangement for the lowest incomes. The Presley `s move to an apartment on the Commerce street. Then Vernon move they had found work to Mullberry Alley. Vernon have work as driver and Gladys work in Mid-South Laundry. By their common income can them move now again, now to a house on the North Green street.
September Elvis start at Milam Junior Highschool in Tupelo for his 6th school year.
1947  
January 8 For Elvis' 12e anniversary gets he of Vernon a stripping book of  George Price. His father wrote in the book: May your birthday be sprinkled through with joy and love and good times too.  'Daddy 08-01-47'. The book have cost 25 pennies and have been spent in 1945. Elvis have taken along the book to Germany and has it afterwards left behind with books still more then family was wrap up, for the return to America.
September Elvis, the 7th school year at Milam Junior High school. It is in this year that Elvis each day take along the guitar to school and in pauses play for his classmates.
December 25 Elvis get a bicycle.
